Modern heat-responsive frangible glass bulb produced by a global leader in this cutting-edge technology serves as the Sprinkler operating device. When heated, the fluid within the glass bulb expands.
When the temperature rating is met, the bulb breaks, water flows through the sprinkler and strikes the deflector, creating a consistent water spray pattern to control or put out fire.
Sprinklers must be handled carefully, stored at room temperature for optimal performance, and kept in a separate area to prevent metal parts from coming into touch with the sprinkler or bulb.
Storage and any subsequent shipping must only be done in the original packaging.Before installation, sprinklers need to be properly inspected visually.
Sprinklers that are obviously damaged, fallen, or exposed to temperatures that are higher than the permissible maximum ambient temperature should never be placed.
Any glass bulb sprinkler should never be installed if it has a break in it or is losing liquid. To avoid mechanical damage, sprinklers must be fitted after the plumbing is put in place.
