BW Type Cable Gland
Brass Hex Nuts are durable, corrosion-resistant fasteners commonly used in various industrial and construction applications. Manufactured to DIN 934 standards, these nuts provide secure fastening solutions for bolts and threaded rods. Ideal for environments where resistance to rust and weathering is crucial, brass hex nuts are both reliable and versatile, making them a preferred choice for long-term projects.
For usage with steel wire armoured cables, use the BW Type Cable Gland (H694-XL). used to assure electrical continuity and mechanical retention of the cable by gripping the Armor wire. When a watertight seal is not necessary, the BW gland is employed indoors.
Shrouds, lock nuts, and earth tags are included with the BW and CW glands as standard equipment. Depending on the cable being terminated to, they are both also offered in LSNH (Low Smoke Non Halogen) and regular PVC versions.
